Picture Frame - Mother's Day Gift Activity
This is a great activity for Dad or an older family member to do with toddlers for Mother's Day gifts. Buy wooden frames from your craft store. Have your toddler glue buttons, beads, shells, pebbles, foam shapes etc. to the frame. Attach a cardboard backing to the frame after your child makes a picture to display in the frame.
Pretty Tissue Boxes - Mother's Day Activity
Brush glue over small sections of an unopened tissue box and have your toddler glue a different shapes of uncooked pasta on the box. Cover the whole box and then spray with pretty spray paint.
Muffin Cup Flowers
Using muffin or cupcake baking cups, make petals by cutting the edges of the cups. Glue the flowers onto construction paper and then draw stems, leaves and grass to finish pictures.
Tissue Paper Rainbows
You'll need different colors of tissue paper. Give each child a large piece of paper. Have them brush an arc of glue on the paper. Have toddlers tear one color of tissue paper into small pieces and then glue onto the paper. Have them repeat to make a pretty rainbow.
